Shared Living for Adults With Disabilities

A community residential support (CRS) is a shared living arrangement for three or fewer individuals with DDS. The highly-trained staff at Helping People Excel, Inc offers a variety of residential options for adults with developmental disabilities and a 24-hour staff support.

CRS services are offered to adults with disabilities in Meriden, Cheshire, Wallingford, North Haven, Southington, Bristol, and Waterbury, CT. We also offer services in the Greater Hartford and New Haven, CT areas.

Dedicated and Caring Staff

All staff members at Helping People Excel, Inc are certified in CPR, First Aid, DDS medication administration, and PMT. The staff is also trained in Dysphasia, OSHA, HIPAA, abuse, and neglect. 

To stay up to date on care certifications, the caring staff attends monthly, annual, and individualized training for each participant in the community residential support program. 

Customized Programs

No matter the severity of mental illness, Helping People Excel, Inc offers residential services to individuals who have been diagnosed with mental and developmental disabilities. All programs are tailored to each individual based on their own unique needs.

Services are provided in clean and comfortable personal care homes and in semi-independent settings. You are encouraged to be as involved as possible while your loved one is under the care of Helping People Excel, Inc.
